What distinguish this implant?

This implant takes less time to integrate with the patient's bone due to its similarities with natural bone material. As opposed to metal implants, this material generally does not induce an abnormal thermo-sensitivity to the patient surrounding ambient temperature. Additionally, this implant is biodegradable and will be degraded by the patient's body after about two years, being replaced by native bone tissue .

 

What is the duration of the surgery?

This implant is inserted into the patient's body during a surgical procedure while patient is under general anesthesia. The fixation of the implant in the patient's body is achieved using conventional surgical screws and plates. The patient is typically hospitalized for a single day post-surgical procedure, and upon the surgeon's evaluation of the patient's condition, they are discharged the subsequent day.

 

What is the procedure for ordering these types of implants?

In order to produce a 3D print the implant, Computed Tomography (CT) scans of the affected area are necessary.
